The President and Secretary General would like to invite all of the Officers of ICHPER•SD to contribute to the NEWS UPDATE by sending news items and activities of their region to both offices of The President and Secretary General.
According to the ICHPER·SD Bylaws and Operating Code for the Nomination and Election Committee (NEC), Dr. Yoshiro Hatano, Chair, has conveyed to the President the following results of the 2009 Election of ICHPER·SD Officers that took place on June 30, 2009. The election was for 4 positions (i.e., Vice President for Asia region Dr. Frank Chin-Lung FANG of Taiwan, R.O.C. (Elected by acclamation and uncontested), Vice President for the Middle East Dr. Mosaad Sayed EWIES of Egypt (Elected by acclamation and uncontested), and Vice President for Oceania Prof. Peter CHEN of New Zealand (Elected by acclamation and uncontested)) with a four-year term for each office commencing as of July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2013 or the last day of the ICHPER·SD Anniversary World Congress & Exposition in 2013.
